Jealousy..the good kind.

Everytime I shoot someone with brown eyes, I am always tempted to name my blog title, "Jealousy", but it's such a negative word. Hence, the title of this blog. Last night, I did Jordan's senior portraits, and myyyyyy goodness, does she have the prettiest eyes. We shot at a green wall and she said, "Oh.. my eyes might change." hahaha- so not only does she have GORGEOUS eyes, they change into other GORGEOUS colors! Bah! I want brown eyes! Here's Jordan, annd her eyes.. :)

One of my mom's friends at work asked me to take pictures of girls' basketball at Trinity. I accepted, not realizing how FAST bball players are.. ugh- I have SO much learning to do.. here are some from last Saturday (guys and girls):

On Valentine's Day, I woke up to a George Strait ringtone blaring in my ear from my phone. I groan, but know it's Colter, so I answer:

"Merrrr.. Hello?"
"Hey- I'm on my way over.."

Some words were exchanged that I can't even remember. I hung up, groaned some more, fell asleep for about 5 more minutes, then forced myself to roll out of bed. I brushed my teeth, put boots on over my sweatpants and darn George Strait starts singing again. I answered to Colter saying, "I don't wanna wake anybody up.. are you ready?" I can't recall my reply, but drug my feet to the front door only to see my handsome boy waiting for me. He drove me to his house and cooked breakfast for me while I laid on the couch watchin TV. Eggs, toast, hashbrowns, and muffins with cream cheese icing, and OJ. :) I'm spoiled. I had an event to shoot in the afternoon, and while I was there, Colt managed to sneak back to my house and into my room and bathroom with these post-its, which I found late that night after our dinner and a movie date:

Carbonated Pineapples

Beeeaaauuutiful Chelsea got married this last Saturday.. (I'm ridiculously lucky to have gorgeous people ask me to take photos of them) So here are a few shots from the night...

I have never cried so much at a wedding in my life. The Daddy/Daughter dance had to be the most precious and pure moments I've ever seen, and I was blessed to capture them! The three bridesmaids I shot crying ended up laughing at me because I could hardly see through my tears to take a picture of them.. Ahh- so great!
