There are so many unforgettable quotes from this day. I can't even begin to tell you how special this wedding was, and to photograph it was an absolute honor. My day began by capturing a morning coffee date between Jennifer and her dad. Every Friday morning, they meet at Starbuck's for breakfast and just spend time together, but this Friday morning was different. His only daughter was getting married.
Matthew is GREAT!! He's a passionate, thoughtful, loyal, wear-your-heart-on-your-sleeve kind of guy, and he meshes perfectly with Jennifer. He is happiest when he sees Jennifer happy, and that quality, not only makes the bride happy, but also makes a photographer happy. ;)
Weddings are a celebration, NO DOUBT, but I love when a wedding focuses on the decision and commitment being made. During the bridal luncheon, a few women were sharing their marriage advice and even talking about their own marriages. Here are a few I wrote down:
"If I honor him, it ALLOWS him to love me."
"We've been married for 34 years and the last 4 have been the best years of our marriage.. We try to outdo each other in honoring/serving each other."
