The "Cool" Wedding

Johnny Cash, wild raspberries, Masterson Springs, Pee Little Thrigs, homemade jam (homeade EVERYTHING), Rindercella, Latel Rot Rotten Hut, kick-the-can (with minor injuries), long walks, loud games, campfires, and two becoming one make for an exciting weekend at Bonita Vista...

This wedding weekend was flawless. I absolutely love spending time with my family and hearing laughter CONSTANTLY for an entire weekend. The details for this wedding were phenomenal. The Lackey sisters brainstormed, organized, prepared, and executed with confident flair, while remaining humble and always wanting to serve. Ahhh, glory. Ellen & Marshall headed to Hawaii after their big day and, praise Jesus, didn't have any hurricanes hit them. :) E & M, I pray that together, you will depend on His strength to love others so that His name might be magnified in every area of your life. I can't wait to see and hear stories of how He will be glorified through you.

Travis & Brittani

I love the drive to Amarillo. I love to drive in general, but this drive is so smooth it ALMOST puts you to sleep, but has enough curve to wake you back up. It's long enough for a few CDs of good tunes, but short enough that your hands aren't numb from gripping the steering wheel afterwards. The viieeewww.. nothing but sky. Beautiful sky. Travis and Brittani got hitched on August 15th. These two are soooo much fun together. Everything Brittani described them to be at our meeting a few months before was dead on: carefree, goofy, flexible.. To pose these two would be ridiculous. They are such a joy to capture just being themselves. I'm so excited for you two! His joy is apparent in both of you, and I pray it's contagious, blessing all you come in contact with as a couple. Thanks for letting me share in your day! :)

A New Family

When I first met Kimberly, I knew instantly she was someone who makes sure everyone around her is content, okay, and happy. She's precious. When discussing her wedding package, she asked if she could change her engagement session to a family session because, "I'm not just marrying him. I'm marrying his family.. and I want THOSE pictures." I LOVED that and recognized her love for all 4 of these boys. :) I obviously said yes, and here we are: an engagement/family session. Stay tunnned for her wedding in October! woohooo!
