Rebecca McGill- Senior

I always love when I can connect with a client, and hold deep conversations instantly. I shared a little bit about why I do what I do and my experience with photography thus far. I haven't been able to share that recently, and it was so good to do that again. It was also a reminder to myself of the fire behind my passion. He pushes all of it. I use His natural light in every shoot, and He proves to me daily my purpose within the industry. In this case, I wanted to photograph Rebecca, pulling every ounce of inner beauty out into a photo. We prayed before the shoot, asking that God is glorified through the shoot and through the photos. I think He answered. We had so much fun driving around, laying in the grass, and playing around old cars. Here are a few shots from the afternoon:

Chad&Amanda- Engaged!

WOW! These two are hilarious. Chad is the sweet, seemingly quiet guy where every word that comes out of his mouth is funny, and Amanda is the firecracker that just thinks Chad is the greatest! :) They did so well as "being cheesy" and posing; I got some great laughs out of them. These two get married in June! YAY.

Leland Wedding

You might of read about mine and Amberly's small connection in the blog entry with her bridals. She has a way of making everyone around her feel SO close to her. Ryan is one lucky guy and lets that girl shine. Their day ran perfectly. There were so many unique details and intimate moments.. too many to count. Matthew Harris & I were busy running around capturing every detail and fun moment. Ryan and Amberly got married at the Legacy Event Center. I have shot MANY weddings here, including the first ever (yay..watch the slideshow), but I had never heard the organ be played. Let me just throw this out there to anyone and everyone that is or is even considering getting married at the Legacy. HIRE AN ORGAN PLAYER! It was breathtaking. Many of you know the plethora of tears shed at weddings by me. Before she even walked down the aisle, I was in tears at the heart-wrenching sound of the organ. The wedding's colors were white, black, and silver. Though the colors were simple, the bridal bouquet had bursts of feathers. The ceremony had a worship service. The reception had a Mariachi Band. The night was perfect, and these two are forever united under our King, and to witness it through the lens of my camera was absolutely endearing. Hope you can get an idea of what their day was like by seeing these. Enjoy.

Curt & Lauren Douglass

Curt and Lauren have played such huge roles in my life. I remember when "CurtDog" first came to IABC, joining the youth staff. Youth Camps, New York and Mexico trips, DNOWS.. etc. He is SUCH a hard worker, always getting things done, while connecting with students and making sure they feel welcome at Indiana. I couldn't have picked anyone more perfect for Curt than Lauren. Lauren is possibly the silliest person I've ever met, but at the same time, so organized and quite the secretary for Curt. Their wedding day was a BLAST. It was simple, classic, and sweet, but included things that were so "curt&lauren", like exiting the church to "Joy to the World" by Three Dog Night, and dancing for hours at the reception. I loved it, and I think I can vouch for anyone when i say that Curt & Lauren's quirk is so fun to be around. Congratulations Curt and Lauren DOUGLASS!!!

Kathleen Felty- Senior

When Kathleen first called me to take her senior pictures, I was THRILLED. I ran to my roommate and said, "GUESS WHO I GET TO PHOTOGRAPH?!?" Kathleen has the most beautiful and alluring face; I could not wait to capture her eyes. We met the night before to get to know each other a little bit before the shoot, and I had to interrupt her mid-conversation to confess that I was secretly studying her face. ha. This girl is beautiful, and has such a classy, old-hollywood feel to her. She was an absolute joy to hang out with for a day. :) Here's proof of her beauty:
