Brett & Brittany is that ideal couple/client a photographer dreams of. They each have a personality that is so distinguishable. When they came up in conversation with others, their titles naturally became "Rocker bride" and "Killer hair groom". With Brett's grit and Brittany's quirkiness, the wedding day details fell in place without flaw. The Rock'n'Roll theme was a HIT.. and made for hilarious puns out of Brittany's witty mouth throughout the day:
"You rock.. Get it? You ROCK.. Like rock. Bahah, I'm so punny!" ;)
I love shooting a wedding day surrounded by people who have read my previous blog posts because after I photograph a funny face or hear a hilarious quotable quote, I hear "Please don't blog that." Haha. I'll respect the request this time only, but just know, my dear blog readers, this was one of the most quotable wedding days yet.
Most memorable part of the night for me was Brett & Brittany's first dance. They SANG a sweet song by Ingrid Michaelson together with Brett on the guitar, and then joined on the dance floor during the chorus. It was perfect.
So take a look at these photos, and hopefully you'll get a little taste of how fun this wedding day was. Oh yeah... Did I mention the reception had a FLASHMOB?!??!
Sooooo.. I had to do this for these two images. I just couldn't resist. Brett's mom is awesome, and this was her little pre-wedding jig. ;)
Maid of Honor toast: "3 things a girl needs: a credit card that someone else pays the bill for, a closet full of shoes, and someone who they can call, and when you tell them the sky is falling, they tell you that they'll be there to hold it up for you."
This is the reaction to the flash mob. :) So great.
