Roommate Day!

Ahh.. finally.. a day where I can stop "trying to catch up" and just rest with my awesome roommates. I hadn't had a "day" in wayyyyy too long, and they encouraged me to take a Monday off and go to the leisure pool. After, I encouraged them to a hot shower and some ice cream. :) So pool, showers, and ice cream is just what we did. Hope these are as good to look at as ice cream is to eat! Maybe this will tie you blog-stalkers over until I blog my next summer wedding. Readyyyy... gander:

Wren Wedding

Man! It's been a crazy month! Taylor and Jessica are a super fun couple. They had a fun wedding at the Baker Building downtown, filled with all kinds of fun details. To name two, Taylor had Star Wars cufflinks and their entrance to the reception was the Star Wars theme song. hah..The day flew by and Jessie and Taylor are officially hitched. Here are few favorites from the day. Get ready for another blog post REALLY soon. I have a lot comin your way. This summer has been filled with weddings, and there a lot more to come. August will be PACKED! :) Enjoyyyy.

Ashley Robertson- Bride

Other than a short phone conversation, I had no idea what Ashley was like or what she looked like before we met up for her bridal shoot. When I saw her in the back of her mom's car, she was strikingly beautiful! Her personality matched her beauty, and we hit up a few fun spots, including a BEAUTIFUL golf course at the perfect time. I call Ashley my magazine bride. Take a look at this drop dead gorgeous "magazine bride". :)

Amber DAVENPORT

Chad & Amber got married at the Ransom Canyon last night. What a beautiful ceremony. I can't wait to blog the wedding images, but until then, I can share Amber's bridals with you (finally)! I have never had so many come on a shoot with me and my subject. There were 6 of us! :) Mom, Grandma, Aunt, Cousin, Bride, and Betsy. It was hot, and we fought off deadly giant mosquitos. Amber was a trooper, and wore her tennis shoes beneath her dress to "hike". ;) Ahh weddings.. tis the season, and I have had GORGEOUS brides this year. Blessed.

Dillard Wedding.

You mayyyyy remember Chad and Amanda from their lovely faces in their engagement photos in March. Well, lots of wedding planning, job searching, and pre-wedding parties later, these two are finally hitched. The week of the wedding rolled around, and Miss Amanda kept her cool, and had a complete calm about her that I don't think I've ever seen in one of my brides. I was in awe. In fact, her tranquility almost made me panic. haha.. SOMEONE had to be nervous for her.

She was so relaxed, just ready to be on Chad's arm as Mrs. Dillard.

The big day finally came, and Amanda had a completely different air about her than the day before. She was jittery.. giddy.. and had nerves that flushed the color red to her cheeks. She was bashfully ready to see her man.. and to be held. :) All the bridesmaids were cheering for Amanda when she was getting her hair done because it was the FIRST time they had seen her nervous throughout the ENTIRE engagement/wedding/marriage process. hahaha.. I loved it. I'm so glad Chad and Amanda did a sneak peek, because I think Amanda NEEDED to see Chad to just bear hug him before the day's crazy events took place. I wish you could've just felt Amanda's change in mood & appearance when she saw Chad. Overall, their love is evident and absolute.. and the day was awesome.

The girls laughed.
The guys danced.
Everyone cried. (happy tears, of course)
