Matt & Orlie | Engagement

When I first met with Orlie, I KNEW we were gonna get along. She is just sweet.. gentle, gorgeous, and incredibly stylish. She told me the story of how she & Matt first met and how he proposed. I tried to imagine the type of man Orlie would be matched with. I couldn't tell. Would she be with another soft-spoken, gentle person? When their engagement session rolled around, Orlie came dressed in a killer pallet of oranges, blues, grays, and reds. Matt stepped out of the car, greeted me with a huge smile, and gave me the firmest handshake I had ever received. He started cracking jokes as SOON as he got out of the car. Matt. is. hilarious. He was not only making Orlie laugh with every joke, imitated voice, or movie quote coming out of his mouth, but sometimes I had to stop taking photos so I could simply laugh it out and compose myself. I love these two. They are getting married in October, and I couldn't be more excited for them to start a life together. :D






I got individual shots of the two of them. I started with just wanting to photograph every accessory and detail on Orlie.

Then Matt got jealous and wanted some "action" shots of him, so bam. Done. The "Johnny Bravo" move, ladies & gentlemen.
