18 Month Portraits | Maddie Gould

It's so cool to be able to follow up with a couple after their wedding. Kody & Chelsea's wedding was my second wedding EVER and now they have a treasured little girl named Maddie. After I posted a preview of Maddie on Facebook, someone commented and said, "Ooooo darling. She's like a small person now. So crazy!!!" haha.. I loved this comment, because this is SO true. Maddie's age is my favorite age for kiddos because they're figuring themselves out.

"Can I run faster than my feet can take me?"
"Can I eat leaves?"
"Can I tell mom no?"
"Can I have a serious conversation with someone with such a small vocabulary?"
"Can I get away with things?"
"Can I stand on uneven ground?"

I could watch Maddie ALL DAY LONG. What a fun personality. She is so laid back and giggles constantly at Daddy. ;)

Her navy eyes sparkle!! I love it. Take a look at Maddie and keep checkin back for an engagement session and LOTS of weddings!

Garrett Wedding | Tim & Janet

I can't believe it has been so long since I've blogged. The holidays consumed me, but after all the turkey, Christmas movies, board games, pecan pie, presents, and Christmas light looking, I'm BACK and ready for 2011. I still have so many 2010 weddings to share with you, so hopefully I'll have them for you to view soon. :)

Today, meet Mr. and Mrs. Garrett. Their family is SO fun. Tim is such comedian and can make ANYONE laugh no matter what the mood. Tim AND Janet's personalities shone through the details of the wedding day. THE SHOES. oh. my. goodness. Janet had her killer purple sequined heels and Tim (and every guy involved in the wedding) had his checkered converse and checkered sunglasses. Hilarious.

I know that the reception details of a wedding will always always always always be awesome if Carol Gary of Dayspring Designs is the caterer/designer... annnd they were. My mouth watered when I photographed the chocolate table. Chocolate covered EVERYTHING and Moon Pies!! It was glorious. :)

My favorite part about their wedding was the VERY beginning of the ceremony. The pastor and the groom come from the back to take their positions on stage before the bride makes her entrance, and as Tim turns to face the guests, he has the BIGGEST grin on his face. Everyone laughs at the apparent joy on Tim's face. The laughing turns into an ALL OUT applaud.. clapping for Tim, cheers for Janet.. praises for this family about to be joined.. approval of the day. I was already crying before the ceremony officially began! haha.. I'm SUCH a sap.. What can ya do?

Here are a few from Tim & Janet's wedding day:

Dear brides & grooms everywhere, it is SUCH a brilliant idea to have crayons and coloring books for little ones at your reception. Just a suggestion. ;)

Willcoxon Family

Oh my goodness. I'm so thrilled to publish this blog post. This family is too precious. Kristin has been a good friend to my mom for many years. She is one of my mom's nurses and has been such a blessing for my mom to work with. She is such an encourager.

I remember the day Aidan was born. I was little little, hanging out with my mom in the bathroom (probably playing with makeup or something), and my mom was on the bathroom phone talking to someone about Kristin's first baby! It was so exciting. :) Welp, Aidan is no longer a baby. He is a handsome grown up boy, which is always so crazy to see, but amazing. Caroline is possibly the cutest thing I've ever laid eyes on. She has ringlets like her momma and can bust a "hand on her hip" pose without me even asking. Past her initial shyness, she has this sweet girly sass about her that makes me just want to wrap her in a bear hug and then have a tea party! Aidan & Caroline's relationship reminded so much of mine and my brother's growing up. Caroline looks at Aidan in awe, wanting to do everything big brother does (good & bad). Aidan wants to play rough and wrestle, but doesn't QUITE know how much sister can tolerate. This was Michael and me to a T. In fact, it's still kind of our relationship. hah ;) (I love you Michael)

This family is tight-knitted, and it's so cool to witness. Please meet the cutest family you will ever see:
